Welcome to the news section!

The latest News and Announcements for the Spyro the Dragon universe.

I'll be covering everything from release dates for the newest video games, to pretty much everything else that could possibly happen relating to the spyro the dragon franchise here.

Snoop Dogg had a flying Spyro the Dragon drone deliver Spyro: Reignited Trilogy to his doorstep...! - (November 21, 2018)

Snoop Dogg just had an enormous flying drone of his nephew Spyro the Dragon deliver the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy to his house in California.

That’s pretty neat, actually.

Activision teamed up with the popular rapper to launch an advertisement campaign for the video game that just released a week ago. The Spyro the Dragon drone was tasked to deliver copies of the Remastered Trilogy all across the United States of America.

The adventure began in New York, and the adventure continued throughout the United States, passing through West Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Colorado, and Utah.

The flying Spyro the Dragon drone eventually reached its final destination in California where it would deliver Snoop Dogg’s very own copy of the remastered trilogy.

The Spyro the Dragon drone can even talk. It has several voice clips from the remastered video games installed on it.

You can even take a look at Snoop Dogg himself posing with the Spyro the Dragon drone at his house in California when it eventually completed its adventure and delivered the remastered Spyro the Dragon trilogy to him there in the picture above.

I thought the drone was pretty cool, though.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has just been released! - (November 13, 2018)

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has just been released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One video game consoles.

The game features all three Insomniac-created games completely remastered.

Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!

Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Please, remember that you have to have an internet connection on your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to download Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon because the disc itself only includes the first game—Spyro the Dragon. The download is completely free, however.

If you have not already previously pre-ordered the game, you can buy it in every major video game retailer.

You can also buy it online, of course.

Please, go buy it online now!

Tell me what you think about the new remastered collection of Spyro the Dragon video games—Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy release date has been pushed back to November. (So much for "I'll take you there in September.") - (August 16, 2018)

Unfortunately, it looks like Activision will not be keeping the anniversary date, after all.

The release date for Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has been pushed back until November 13, which is another two months away.

Apparently, they’re taking extra care to make sure that the game is completed before its release date, which I suppose should be considered a good thing.

It is still unfortunate that they won’t take us there in September, though.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on November 13, 2018.

Snoop Dogg is apparently a fan of his "nephew" Spyro the Dragon. - (April 5, 2018)

It would turn out that—apparently—the infamous rapper and Hip-Hop artist Snoop Dogg is a fan of Spyro the Dragon.

In a post on his Instagram account, Snoop Dogg says that he has heard that his “nephew” Spyro is making a comeback, and that he had to unleash something. In the picture, he is showing off a Spyro the Dragon T-shirt. I think this is a T-shirt that was released at some point before, so it isn’t for the Reignited Trilogy, but it is still pretty neat.

The T-shirt is shown in the picture above.

I didn’t know that Spyro had an uncle, though. I definitely didn’t know that his uncle would turn out to be Snoop Dogg himself.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), or better known by his stage name—Snoop Dogg—has sold 23 million albums in the United States alone and 35 million albums worldwide.

Snoop Dogg's debut album, Doggystyle, which was produced by Dr. Dre, was released in 1993 by Death Row Records. The album debuted at number one on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

Doggystyle became one of the best-selling Hip-Hop albums of all time, and was eventually certified quadruple platinum in 1994.

Snoop Dogg has gone on to release many more best-selling Hip-Hop albums, and has become one of the most well-known rappers in the music industry.

Snoop Dogg just recently released a Gospel album, featuring many prominent Gospel singers—like Patti LaBelle and Faith Evans—called “Bible of Love.”

Whatever you might think about Snoop Dogg, I think that it is pretty cool that Spyro just got some celebrity attention.

This would make Snoop Dogg the first celebrity name to express being a fan of the Spyro the Dragon franchise.

So, what do you think about Snoop Dogg being a fan of his nephew Spyro the Dragon?

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has been officially announced... and here is the first official trailer for the video game! - (April 5, 2018)

Activision has just announced a new video game in the Spyro the Dragon franchise. The game will be called “Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.”

As the title would suggest, the game will include all three of the Insomniac-created Spyro the Dragon video games. That means that Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon will all be completely remastered with upgraded graphics, seemingly music, and from the trailer, it would seem that Tom Kenny will be reprising his role as Spyro the Dragon himself, which would mean that Spyro will have one voice throughout all three games.

Above you will see a trailer for the game that features gameplay of a remastered version of the original Spyro the Dragon. This includes some of the cutscenes, like when you rescue a crystalized dragon.

Spyro himself has a slightly remastered look, and if you look carefully, you can even see that he has little thumbs.

Sparx is, like… O_O

You can also see other characters in their remastered form, like the Gnorcs, the thieves, and even Toasty.

The Gnorcs seem to be very different from what they looked like in the original game. The thieves look wonderful and somewhat terrifying, which is good. I hope they still have the same laugh, though.

I think that Toasty’s new look is possibly the best one in the entire trailer. Well, along with Spyro, whose thumbs are perfect. I think that Toasty’s whole costume and scythe came out wonderfully.

According to the last little bit of the trailer, the game will be released in September later on this year.

I guess they want to keep the anniversary date and take us back to the dragon realms in September.

Pre-orders are also becoming available now, and if you pre-order the game, you will apparently be given a free download of one of the soundtracks—Dark Hollow—which is a remix and remaster of Stewart Copeland's original soundtrack for Spyro the Dragon.

It does not appear to be Stewart Copeland himself doing the music this time around, though.
